The Full Programme

Morning Practice

Our mornings open with Mysore-style traditional ashtanga practice, followed by a Beginners’ Course for those new to the practice; designed to support you. Mysore-style is self-practice in a group setting, which gives you personal guidance within a calm, collective space. The perfect way to build strength, focus, and confidence at your own pace. If Ashtanga is new to you, you’ll join others on the beginners’ course, learning the sequence step by step (you definitely won’t be the only one starting fresh!). Working with the idea of movement meditation, using breath, awareness and alignment to create both energy and ease. Rooted in the traditional Ashtanga method, the practice is dynamic yet grounding: it steadies the mind, builds vitality, and leaves you feeling quietly alive. No need for handstands or headstands here (unless they’re already part of your flow). The focus here is on safe, sustainable connection to your body, breath and mind.

Workshops on Yoga Asana & Philosophy

We'll organise two yoga workshops: One on Friday and one on Saturday. Each workshop evolves depending on the group, your questions, and what we feel would best support your practice. Below you find the framework for our workshops: Workshop I: Foundations of Asana (Physical Yoga Postures) What is Yoga? Understanding its purpose and what you need to know to practice safely and meaningfully. The Benefits of Yoga and sustainable ways to bring it into everyday life. Physical Foundations & Sun Salutations: We’ll break down Surya Namaskara A & B, the core sequences of most energetic yoga classes, building up to 17 individual poses. In this workshop, we’ll focus on alignment, anatomical benefits, and practical adaptations. You’ll see how props and mindful adjustments can make postures accessible for everyone, regardless of flexibility or experience. Workshop II: The Art of Slowing Down — Practical Tools for Stress Release Understanding stress and anxiety, their triggers, and how they affect the body. Exploring fascia and simple ways to release tension. Activating the parasympathetic nervous system and why this matters for your wellbeing. Pranayama (breathing techniques): which techniques suit different levels and why. Restorative and Yin Yoga: learn key poses you can bring into your home practice, on holiday, or even during travel. Each workshop is designed to be practical and accessible, with clear guidance so you can take the tools and techniques home. You’ll also receive a take-home booklet to support your continued self-practice.

Relax & Restore Evening Sessions

Evenings are for slowing down, softening, and letting go. The evening sessions combine Restorative Yoga with Yoga Nidra, using props and mindfulness to guide your body and mind into deep relaxation. You’ll feel the subtle magic of slowing the pace. Restorative poses help re-balance the body’s structure, support organ function, and calm the mind. Props allow the body to fully release effort, reducing strain on joints and supporting safe, restful alignment. The goal is simple: total relaxation — a state of stillness where muscles let go, the body is fully supported, and the mind can rest. By the end of each session, you’ll feel restored, grounded, and ready to embrace the evening with ease.
